In 2011 over 500 kids participated in the Rita's Italian Ice Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Passport program, with hands on learning about various initiatives, ranging from
solar and wind power to remelting metal. Come see our green transportation
locomotive and all of the recycling equipment in action and bring your aluminum
cans in for a special Earth Day price and contest!
Last year we recycled over 2,700 pounds of aluminum cans!
WJTL FM 90.3 on site with LIVE broadcast of Kids Cookie Break, Kids Activity
Center, Smith's Hotel Cheesesteaks, Rita's Italian Ice and Bake Sale to benefit the
Columbia Food Bank and much more--fun for the entire family!
